Vox Toastmasters is an open club which welcomes members from the community who wish to benefit from participating in Toastmasters communication and leadership programs.
"Vox" is Latin for "voice".
Our goal is to provide a forum for members to gain familiarity and confidence in speaking in front of a group, both for impromptu and prepared speeches.
Experienced professionals and beginning speakers alike can benefit from our practical, face-to-face learning program. Whether you're speaking to the board of directors, your customers, your co-workers or your kids, the Vox Toastmasters club can help you do it better. You'll learn and practice in a friendly, comfortable environment with people who are there for the same reason you areto become better communicators.
The weekly Vox Toastmasters meetings provide a forum where members speak in front of a group of 15-25 familiar, friendly, and understanding faces.
While there is only time for a few members to deliver prepared speeches each week, we try to give everyone an opportunity to speak in front of the group even if very briefly. Come join the fun!
